Diabetes Mellitus is one of the most common chronic diseases in the Netherlands. We distinguish type 1 and type 2. The majority of the patients suffers from type 2, also called adult-onset diabetes. If this is the case, the body does not make enough insulin. Treatment with medication and special attention for lifestyle is very important to stabilize the sugarlevel in the blood.
Both a high and a low amount of sugar can be dangerous for your health. Problems concerning eyes, feet and bloodvessels can occur because of deviating sugar levels.

Chrono biological light therapy is a therapy in which you will be exposed to a specific form of ultra-violet light during 30 minutes for 5 days in a row.
